Biography
Denise Tantucci was born in Fano (PU) on the 14th March 1997.
She began studying theatre and writing at a very young age, indeed she published her first story in an anthology for children at the age of 10. Her passion for writing and acting continued until she signed her first play as scriptwriter and director at the age of 14.
The following year she made herself known to the general public thanks to her starring role in the famous television series Un medico in famiglia, but success came with Braccialetti Rossi where she played Nina, the hairless girl with breast cancer. She then starred in the fantasy series Sirene.
She then decided to take a break from the TV scene to focus on cinema: in 2017 she got her first starring role on the big screen for the film Likemeback, in which Denise played a central role in writing the screenplay together with the other actresses and the director. The film was presented at the Locarno Film Festival, capturing the attention of the media and receiving excellent critical acclaim.
The following year she was Stella in the film Buio, an independent debut feature screened for the first time at the Rome Film Festival. In the same year she earned a co-starring role in the new film by Palme d'Or director Nanni Moretti, Tre Piani, based on the novel of the same name by Eskol Nevo and the only Italian film in competition at Cannes 2021.
Luca Lucini's Io e mio fratello is also among his upcoming projects.
She lives and studies in Milan, where she recently graduated in physics.
