Biography

Born in Naples on 19 January 2001, Greta Esposito is currently studying “Performing Arts and Sciences” at the Faculty of Humanities of the University Federico II in Naples.

She began her studies at "La Scuola Elementare del Teatro" ("The Elementary School of Theatre"), directed by Davide Iodice, which she still attends.

She has been a regular member of the Teatro San Carlo chorus since 2009, taking part in the opera seasons of Naples' famous Royal Theatre.

2020 was an impressive year that saw her in several projects on TV (in Mare Fuori, directed by Carmine Elia), on the Raiplay platform (in Michele Vannucci's Mental, where she played the lead role) and also in cinema (in Ginevra Elkann's debut film Magari).

Upcoming projects to be released in 2021 include Mario Martone's Qui rido io, in which Greta plays the role of Maria Scarpetta, and Il Commissario Ricciardi, directed by Alessandro D'Alatri, the new RaiUno series based on the books by Maurizio de Giovanni.

She is currently working on the set of Delta, a film directed by Michele Vannucci and starring Luigi Lo Cascio and Alessandro Borghi.
